Sussex Cream Tea – Sunday 11 August

If you’re at a loose end at around teatime next Sunday, 11 August, how about coming along to West Stoke Village Hall? http://www.weststoke-villagehall.org.uk/map. We’re raising funds for the East Ashling Association to help improve amenities in the village and to organise local social events.

So, between 3:00 – 5:00 pm on Sunday we’ll be serving a traditional Cream Tea: a pot of tea, a home-baked scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam and a slice of one of the ten (yes, ten!) delicious cakes baked for the occasion – all for only a fiver. And, as you enjoy your tea in this lovely setting in the South Downs National Park, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that all profits will go to a worthy cause. There will also be this season’s fresh local honey for sale at the bargain price of £3 a jar.

No reply needed, obviously, but if you would like to enjoy a teatime treat and to help raise funds for the village we’d love to see you there on Sunday.

Very best wishes
