Good Neighbours in Funtington, the Ashlings, West Stoke and Sennicotts

Good Neighbours is a volunteer group for local residents in need of a helping hand.

Good Neighbours is supported by the Benefice of Funtington with West Stoke and Sennicotts and the Funtington Parish Council together with a number of local residents. The Scheme was launched on 23rd March 2017.

What we do – anything really that a good neighbour might do:

Transport to hospital, the dentist or the GP or perhaps a little shopping
Help in the house – perhaps reading an electric meter
Help in the garden – like clearing a pathway
Help filling in forms or writing letters
Help with pets – dog walking if you can’t get out sometimes
Help with your computer
Or, just a chat and a cup of tea
If in doubt – just ask!

How does it work?

Simply phone 07761 027416 – there will always be an answer phone – leave your name and telephone number. The Duty Coordinator will get back to you as soon as possible.
When you speak to the Duty Coordinator just explain what you need help with and when you need it. We will try and find a volunteer and let you know if we have found someone to help.

What does it cost?

Help is free, but a donation towards the transport cost will be most welcome.

Interested in volunteering for Good Neighbours or know someone who might need help or simply want to know more about the Scheme

If so please call the Duty Coordinator on 07761 027416 and leave your name and number. We will get back to you. We currently need Volunteer Drivers.
